Cassino, often called Casino, is a classic card game with straightforward rules that mask its strategic depth. Ideal for players of all ages, it challenges participants to capture cards from the table by matching ranks or creating combinations that sum to a card in their hand. In the Daily-5 variant, players worldwide compete under identical conditions, each receiving the same sequence of cards. A round begins with four cards dealt to each player and four placed face-up on the table. Players take turns capturing single or grouped cards that match their hand’s rank or total, or they can build upon existing table combinations to set up future captures. After each player’s turn, four new cards are dealt until the deck is exhausted. Any remaining table cards go to the last player who made a capture. Scoring prioritizes key cards: the 10♦ (Big Cassino) awards 2 points, the 2♠ (Little Cassino) and each Ace grant 1 point. Additional points are earned for capturing the most cards (3 points), the most spades (1 point), and achieving a “Sweep” (1 point per instance) by clearing the table in a single move. Play standalone rounds or engage in multi-game matches, with victory going to the first player to reach 21 total points.
